Application
Endothermic cooling extinguishing principle.
The metal salt particles absorb large amount of heat at high temperature, and gasification, hot melt physical absorption
process of gasification, hot melt is happened to reduce the temperature, then the metal salt particles radiated to combustion level of comburent to gasify fuel molecules and split the gasified fuel molecules into free radical. During this process, the heat is reduced and combustion speed is inhibited.
Chemical inhibition extinguishing principle.
a. The gas phase chemical inhibition: under heating, the gasified metal particles or cation lost electrons that decomposed from aerosol could cause compatible reaction with active group of combustion, so that to consume active group then reduce combustion free radical.
b. The solid phase chemical inhibition: the solid particles in aerosol fire extinguishing agent has a very small size ( l0
-9 ~ l0
-6m ), which has a large surface area and surface energy, that could adsorb active group of combustion and cause chemical action, so that to consume active group then reduce combustion free radical.
Reduce the oxygen concentration:
the N
2 ,C02 of aerosol fire extinguishing agent could reduce the oxygen concentration of combustion, but the speed is slow, the effect is much smaller than endothermic cooling and chemical inhibition acting.
Ferosol fire extinguishing device is suitable for extinguishing fire in following small volumetric enclosures:
A. Electrical fire in communication rooms, computer rooms, substations rooms, generator rooms, cable pits,cable trenches and etc;
B. Fires in areas for production, storage or using various class combustible liquids such as diesel oil (except No.-35 diesel oil), heavy oil, transformer oil, lubricating oil, animal oil and vegetable oil;
C. Surface solid fires in areas for production, storage or using combustible solid materials.
